if a back row player is standing on the floor inside the ten foot line and plays the ball above the net, is this legal. She is 6′ 3″ tall and she is the setter.

The Ref says:
It all depends on the height of the ball. If the ball is higher than the top of the net and the player directs the ball towards the opponent while standing in the front zone or on the attack line and the ball completely crosses the net or is legally blocked…..you have (BRA) back row attack. It doesn’t matter if she jumps or not….IT ALL DEPENDS ON THE HEIGHT OF THE BALL.
