When there is a discrepancy in the score, who’s responsibility is it to get it corrected? Should the R2 be keeping score as well?

The Ref says:
The score sheet is the official score. The R2 is responsible! The R2 and R1 SHOULD look at the score between every point. If there is a score discrepancy, the R2 should go over the score sheet with the scorer. As the R2, you must have the ability to check an incorrect score sheet and correct if necessary. The scorers form each school are all over the place on keeping track….most do not include subs in the running box or keep a running score in the middle.
Do you look at the score sheet during TOs? Do you go over scoring with the scorer before the match? YES! and YES!
LOOK at the Rule book page 56 and 57…GO OVER EVERY POINT AND LEARN THE CORRECT TECHNIQUE AND YOU WILL BE PREPARED TO CORRECT AN INCORRECT SCORE SHEET.
This takes practice and more practice.
OH and if the R2 can not get the score corrected or takes too long, the R1 should get off the stand and quickly correct the score to the best of her/his knowledge and move on.
